Bookgiddy only works with a small number of committed writers at one time, so that each project receives focused and careful attention. A well-produced book can enhance your brand, increase credibility in your field, or simply entertain or inform your growing readership.
Whether you write fiction or non-fiction, there has never been a better time to be an indie author. The gatekeepers of traditional publishing no longer hold the only key to success.
Kim has a Bachelor of Arts in journalism from Concordia University in Montreal and has been involved with writing and publishing for over 30 years. She has written (and ghost written) articles on local news, fitness, lifestyle, and personal finance. Kim’s personal essays have appeared in newspapers, online, and in three Chicken Soup for the Soul anthologies.
She also has layout and design experience that goes back to when cut and paste actually meant scissors and wax on paste-up pages. While working as the Managing Editor of a community newspaper in the early 1990’s, she was part of the transition team from paste-up to desktop publishing. She later took that skill freelance, to design and edit newsletters, ads, and marketing materials for various small businesses. From 2007-2009 she published the online magazine WednesdayWoman.
Everyone who knows Kim, will tell you she loves a good book. As she watched the opportunities for indie authors growing, she wanted to be part of it all. Bookgiddy brings her skills and experience to indie authors looking for a partner on their publishing journey.
